Students have the opportunity to participate in the following after school sports:
Girls’ Basketball 7th and 8th graders only
Cross Country All Gilmore students
Boys’ Volleyball 7th and 8th graders only
Girls’ Volleyball 7th and 8th graders only
Boys' Basketball 7th and 8th graders only
Track and Field All Gilmore students
Wrestling All Gilmore students
Seventh and Eighth Grade teams compete in the Nevada County Athletic League. Large School Teams include: Lyman Gilmore, Seven Hills, Magnolia, Union Hill, Pleasant Valley, Forest Lake, and Weimar.
Basketball and Volleyball hold try-outs to select their players. Cross Country, Track and Field and Wrestling are open to any 5th - 8th grader.
