Behavioral Health will continue to offer mental health and substance use services to new and existing clients primarily remotely via telehealth solutions. Behavioral Health will contact clients with existing appointments to coordinate these remote services. 

New clients, please call:

(530) 265-1437 for Adult Behavioral Health services

(530) 913-0558 for Behavioral Health services for Spanish-speaking individuals

Truckee Behavioral Health services:

  •  For Children’s services and Spanish-speaking adults, call (530) 913-0558
  •  For Adult services and Substance Use Disorder services, call (530) 913-4156

The Substance Use Disorder "Walk-In Clinic" is held by walk-in (500 Crown Point Circle Location) and over the phone. Anyone needing a Substance Use Disorder assessment should call (530) 265-1437 between 8:30AM and 11:30AM, Monday through Friday.

Debido al Coronavirus, a partir del Jueves 19 de Marzo, las oficinas de Conducto de Salud del Condado de Nevada permanecerán cerradas para los servicios en persona.

Conducto de Salud seguirá ofreciendo servicios de Salud Mental y Consumo de Sustancias a clientes nuevos y existentes principalmente a través de soluciones de telesalud. Conducto de Salud se pondrá en contacto con los clientes con citas existentes para coordinar estos servicios remotos.

La Clínica de Uso de Sustancias ahora se llevará a cabo por teléfono. Cualquier persona que necesite una evaluación del Uso de Sustancias debe llamar al (530) 265-1437 entre las 8:30am y las 11:30am, de Lunes a Viernes.

The mission of the Nevada County Behavioral Health Department is to provide high quality, culturally competent mental health and substance abuse treatment services to Nevada County Residents.

Children's Services


Treat children who have a serious mental illness, who could be using drugs or alcohol, children involved with the Courts, Probation, Child Protective Services and who struggle to learn because of emotional difficulties. Find more information on Children's Services.
