Welcome to PFLAG Nevada County

We are one of 400 chapters. There are over 200,000 supporters crossing multiple generations of American families in major urban centers, small cities, and rural areas in areas in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. This vast grassroots network is cultivated, resourced, and serviced by PFLAG National, located in Washington, D.C., the National Board of Directors and 13 volunteer Regional Directors.

If you are just starting to learn about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people (or if you are one) there are hundreds of questions you may have. You are not alone, PFLAG is the extended family of the LGBTQ community. We’re made up of LGBTQ individuals, family members and allies. Together, we’re stronger.

Uniting people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) with families, friends, and allies, PFLAG is committed to advancing equality through its mission of support, education, and advocacy.

Local PFLAG Support Meetings

Both our LGBTQ+ and Transgender support groups meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Please see our calendar for upcoming dates.

Meetings are open to all ages and orientations and we encourage you to attend as often as you can.

PFLAG Board Meetings
